The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled the Michael Jackson's death a homicide. The Los Angles Times reported that Michael Jackson died of "lethal levels" of the powerful anesthetic propofol. Conrad Murray (pictured), Jackson's personal doctor, told detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for about six weeks. He had been giving Jackson 50 milligrams of propofol every night using an intravenous line, according to the court records. On the morning of his death Jackson had "lethal levels" of propofol in his blood.
This news is hardly a surprise, but one is left to hope that, this time, the LA prosecutors' office gets the ducks in a row and builds a case that takes out the rich pill-pushers who prey on the insecurities of their celebrity victims. There is nothing like to prospect of losing all one ill-got gains and spending years behind bars to make creeps of this kind think lawful thoughts - for a l;ittle while, at least.
